. . . a yantra (drawing or map) of a person’s frequency . . . a tuning into, not just the mental body, not just the physical body, but their spiritual body. All three levels are there in the Chart. . . It is a Yantra of the whole Universe at the Time the person was Born. You can look at this and you can know where everything in the Universe was, where everything in the Solar System was. So it is a map of the Solar system at that (birth) moment in Time. And it is a map of a person’s Life.. . Not just the Present, but the Past, Present and Future are there. All three levels are there. All three aspects of Time are there. The Solar System is there. And their Life is there. ~Freedom Cole (Science of Light)

My personal experience of working with my own Chart has brought me much solace. Why? Because it has explained to me why things are the way they are in my Life. This takes a tremendous amount of pressure off of 'me'. It has basically shown me that things are the way they are for rational & karmic reasons. They are not ‘off’ or ‘unusual’ or ‘crazy’ or inexplicable, haphazardous or faulty.
Vedic Astrology is grounded in the Law of Karma. Simply stated, 'Karma reflects that for every action there is a result.' Or as the saying goes, ‘as ye sow, so shall ye reap.”
A very pivotal point here is that each of us is a Creator. We have actually created all that exists in our life, consciously and unconsciously. We are responsible. The great aspect of being responsible is that since we have created what is, we can continue to create a new, a different, and improved scenario.
When one does not realize this responsibility, this capacity, which is an empowerment, one typically blames others for their circumstance, identifies and feels that they are vulnerable and a victim. By blaming another for what 'is,' one becomes dependent on that other for change. By seeing that we are constantly making choices, one can choose differently, resulting in a new scenario. A new scenario which is empowered and independent; dependent on oneself, not on others. Thus one can continue to create, adjust until satisfaction and contentment come. This is all a learning process, one of trial and error, like a scientist in the lab experiments until what works is found.
One’s Birth Chart represents a layer of karma that one has created in past lives, albeit unbeknownst to us, since usually one does not have memory of this distant Past. The chart shows one's assets, talents, deficits and weaknesses. Areas in which one has accomplished and matured, as well as areas that will be new territory in which to develop oneself.
The planets are known to be recorders of one’s actions, speech, thoughts. They are divine energies manifesting as planets and as aspects of ourselves. They reside in a formless energy that is Ultimate Reality, beyond most human’s full embodiment. A deep and subtle subject to look further into if one is drawn.
Buddha said one would not be able to find one’s Buddha Nature without the afflictions. Thus this confusion and trauma (afflictions) becomes the Way Out, or the Way Through Afflicition; the way to knowing Self and creating healthy, sane, balanced, loving, satisfying, joyful lives.
The Birth Chart can show an area of life that is troubled with confusion, thus pain. This area, if recognized as an obstacle, can become a priority, just as a toothache gets our attention to be taken care of.
My use of astrology is: a) To help educate others, b) To help create clarity and validation for one’s challenges, c) To present remedies for those aligned with its ways & interested in that level of work.
"There is nothing one cannot improve or change through greater self understanding and right application. Upon this foundation one can take responsibility for one's Self and direct one's life in a more positive and meaningful manner. Vedic Astrology helps you do exactly that." ~ Prashant Trivedi
